GREAT TRIP TAKES A TOLL & MY SANDWICH

Got back into town earlier today from a great trip to the TOP OF GEORGIA AIRSTREAM PARK.  I will say I was probably the youngest there with the oldest trailer, so that should count for something.  Many great people there.  Will definitely return.  It seems though that the napping and relaxing in the hills of N Georgia has ruined me with insomnia…& it looks like Molly and Casper ate the rest of my sandwich to only re-deposit it on the floor in puke form…

THANKSGIVING AIRSTREAMING

I’m installed at the TOP OF GEORGIA Airstream park just outside of Helen.  Cool place & full hookups (i’m just using power) for get this- 12$/night, WHAT? YEAH!  The cats had an ok ride up, Molly rode on the dash & the other 2 slinked in back & someone puked 🙁

Got my Sushi rice cooking now to make some rolls for a late lunch.IMG_20151125_103852725_HDR IMG_20151125_114132114_HDR  IMG_20151125_134522271_HDR

GET REAL INMAN PARK!

So if you look back to my INMAN park journey, you’ll see I started getting harassed after only 3 days of parking my vintage Airstream on Austin ave.  I drove by today to see the same derelict trucks parked feet from where I was.

Hey INMAN PARK get consistent and figure out what kind of visitors you welcome…my vintage Airstream looks way more in place than this crap you don’t seem to have a problem with..

TODAY I GOT LOCKED UP

So before I got the trailer I asked the guy that was restoring it to install a lock on the inside, you know so somebody doesn’t walk right in in the middle of the night. That’s that little guy on top, it really wasn’t going to stop anyone from pulling the door open, I think I fixed the problem…

Also I’m a little proud of myself because this is about the first time I haven’t drilled 10 holes to get it right- 4 holes 4 bolts…now i just need to learn to count, I only got 3 nuts & one of the bolts is the wrong length…back to Home Depot.

I CAN’T BELIEVE IT’S GONE

I drove by my old house of 15 years today to see this excavator completely  level it. I can’t say that I miss it though. I will say that the guy that bought it sure did pay an awful lot for an empty lot. He had told me that he’s going to put 2400 + square foot house on that lot in modern style. I heard from the real estate broker handling the property that they’re going to be trying to sell it for three quarters of a million dollars. Crazy!! Good for them. Jesus…
